Thanks for visiting – I am Angus Mill a UK based photographer and adventurer with a passion for cold places and an expertise in the rigours of arctic photography. I have developed a great friendship with Joe Henderson of Alaskan Arctic Expeditions and we have travelled for many weeks together through some of Alaska’s most spectacular wilderness.

Joe Henderson has been exploring the Alaskan arctic with his team of malamutes for over 25 years and is an expert guide to the area.

You can visit his website at:   www.alaskanarcticexpeditions.com

Alaskan malamutes are one of the most ancient breed of dogs and have lived in Alaska in the company of humans for many thousands of years. They are supremely adapted to the Arctic environment.

Arctic Alaska and in particular the North Slope is an area of harsh beauty, with rolling tundra and some of the lowest temperatures on earth. The area is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north and the Brooks Range mountains to the south and includes part of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
